MIS participates in SITL Exhibition 2010
Maxx Intermodal Systems is participating at the SITL exhibition (International Week of Transport and Logistics) in France from 23 till 26 March. The SITL is the second largest transport exhibition in Europe and attracts 40,000 visitors and around 800 exhibitors every two years. This year, the exhibition gives special attention to Russia, where the country will be treated as the guest of honour.
By participating in the SITL, the company seeks to highlight the excellent opportunities it can offer to French customers who are exporting to Russia and Central Asia. This includes the organization of container shipments, deliveries by rail, shipments of oversized cargo, as well as consultancy and use of own containers.
Speaking on the company’s participation, Mr Cedrick Garinet, Key Account Sales Manager, Maxx Intermodal Systems in France, says, “The exhibition makes it possible to network and offer our unique services to potential clients and partners. It is a perfect platform to enhance our visibility and reach out to customers who are looking for alternative solutions to Russia and Central Asia.”
Maxx Intermodal Systems opened its first representative office in France in November 2008. The launch of the new office allowed the company to provide its French customers with a local presence and support. It also followed the significant growth and demand for arranging efficient, secure and environmental friendly shipments to Russia and Central Asia.
“At the moment, we are focusing on clients who are looking for door-to-door services to Russia and Central Asia,” says Mr Garinet. “Additionally, we have obtained a niche in the market by developing reliable solutions for projects and oversized cargo to Russia, Turkmenistan and other countries of the CIS.”
It is the first time for the company to participate at the exhibition, but Mr Garinet is convinced that it will open doors for future growth. “We are committed to becoming an active and important player on the French market and are confident that our participation will support our growing business and reflect the importance we are giving to the country and our activities there.”
The exhibition will run for four days beginning March 23 and ending on March 26. Representatives of MIS will be available at stand M32, Paris Nord Villepinte Hall 6 to meet with customers and partners visiting the exhibition. For more information about SITL, please visit www.sitl.eu
