MIS obtains SQAS Assessment

Maxx Intermodal Systems is pleased to announce it has successfully completed a three-day SQAS Transport Service Assessment in March 2011.

SQAS (Safety & Quality Assessment System) is a system to evaluate the quality, safety, security and environmental performance of Logistics Service Providers and Chemical Distributors.

In gaining the certificate, MIS shows that it is committed to quality, service and safety with high standards of performance. It also indicates that efficient safety management procedures are in place within the company.

Mr Koen Demeulenaere, Operations Manager of MIS Antwerp says that the company is continuously improving the quality and safety of its operations.

“To achieve this,” he says, “We work together with a carefully selected group of partners and subcontractors. We also perform audits and guarantee tools and equipment that are suitable for the job and safe to use.”
